Christ the King Housing Information
Anawim Housing is excited to be partnering with Christ The King Catholic Parish on Des Moines’s south side to provide affordable housing for senior citizens. The project was largely developed by the late Sister Stella Neill who played a major role in bringing Anawim and Christ The King together. Read Des Moines Register Article
Anawim is managing 28 units that opened in February 2012 to serve seniors in the Des Moines community. The 28 units in the Christ The King housing project are 1-2 bedrooms. Rental amounts range from $400 to $595 and includes all utilities. Amenities include:
- Security Entrance
- Elevators
- Stove, Refrigerator, Dishwasher, Microwave, Stacked Washer/Dryer in each unit
- Storage units
- FREE cable until 12/31/12
- Media Room
- Fitness Room
