Birdies for Charity

Anawim Housing will once again be participating in Birdies for Charity, and you can make your donation through June 2, 2013. With 790 birdies made in last year’s tournament, Birdies for Charity raised $296,000 for many worthy organizations.

With the support of our generous donors, Anawim Housing was named the top Birdies for Charity fundraiser in 2012, raising over $50,000 for our programs and services. We would like to continue this momentum and be able to be the top fundraiser for the second year in a row. We would greatly appreciate your support in reaching our goal!

How does it work? You make a pledge based on the number of “birdies” made by PGA Champions Tour players during the Principal Charity Classic. We receive 100 percent of the donation plus a 25 percent match through the generosity of Sammons Group! Just this match can help three more families! The top 25 charities also have the opportunity to win BONUS BUCKS of up to $2500. Each pledge means one more family will find the safety and stability of a home to call their own.
