Volunteer
At Anawim Housing, we welcome volunteers of all ages and skill levels. Individual and group opportunities are always available, with many listed on the United Way’s volunteer website at www.volunteersolutions.org.
Typical volunteer opportunities include:
- Landscaping – maintaining shrubs, flowers and other plantings
- Playground maintenance
- Spring cleaning
- General office duties
- Photography, calligraphy and graphic design
- Grant writing and marketing
- Pick up and delivery of donated furniture
You can also share your personal expertise with Anawim Housing clients as a translator, advisor or workshop presenter (on such topics as money management, housekeeping, career development and more).
